I'm at work, I have the website saved in favorites at home.

As for the headers, I've been in contact with OBX directly, they are pricing me out the costs for a 3.5L 2008 - 2010 model headers.

Questions is, if they made them is their a demand among the masses on here for the 2008 - 2010 model 3.5L for headers or am the only one? - I plan on maxing this engine to the max. I like having a sleeper car, BMW's and Audi's trying to tempt me on the Garden State and I-87 and I kick their asses and they bow down to me and give up. Handling alone I out maneuver them, I can only imagine what Koni's would do for handling. I can only dream what headers and proper tune could do....

        Re: 3.5L headers

to get headers for the lz4 what additional things would need done right away so as not to destroy the engine? Would we need like wams to do more tune work for the chip and that be it or is more involved? I ask because i'd be interested hehe.

          Re: 3.5L headers

To get the best benefit from them you should def get retuned but I think chris has mentioned it before he would need the car on site to properly tune it. I've run headers on various vehicles with no extra tune work never caused any damage ran rich usually but without the tune I never got any real noticable power gain which kinda defeats the purpose of buying them.

              Re: 3.5L headers

The only thing I've done headers on paired with an exhuast that has noticable gain is the super duty ford v10 gas trucks. The stock manifold on those are smaller than the exhaust ports on the head. Not sure why they did that but seriously wakes those trucks up.

really i am surprise you did nt notice any gains usually you will notice the pick up w/o the tune cause i had a kia sephia with headers and i notice the pick up right away

                  Re: 3.5L headers

Ya it definitly depends on the vehicle or the persons perception of noticeable gain. Headers on a 302 f150 I didn't notice anything. My camaro felt a little more responsive but it didn't feel any different other than that. My neon I felt nothing at all just better sound. My escort might have been a bit more peppy but not enough to validate spending the money. Ofcourse as few upgrades as we have for our cars when you already have everything else and you want a bit more I geuss. I mean the engine can only pull in as much air as the intake and heads will allow. So it can only exhaust what it can pull in.
