Ok...time for an update. This project was on the back burner as I can only do so much....but I got her a Roush wing for Christmas. It was brand new in the box for the P-51 Class Roush (if you know what that is... ).
Its painted and looks perfect. I hate to sand that silver P-51 color off but oh well.....a yeller it will be- With black stripes!!!

Bought the paint for the back spoiler yesterday and dropped it off at the painters.
Its cheaper if I just pay labor.

Anyways I picked up a painted overflow resovoir cover for Christmas for the Mrs and the yellow matches perfectly but it looks out of place.

I think its because I painted the stripes into the bay and with the engine it looks like a continuation of the center part black and outside parts yellow theme the car has running down its length (if that makes sense).

Here is the part. i took this picture in the dark so it really looks better than this.

I think I am going to change this to black. Gloss black w/a clearcoat.
It will match the intake pipe and keep the center part black.

Should have the spoiler done by next week.

Also should have my cam covers done on the other "evil" Mustang by then. So what i will do is pull off the evil stockers and put on the new ones then take the evil stockers and have them PC'd yellow. Then I will put the new evil yellow ones on the Mrs' car. That will free me up another set.

Im thinking of then selling this new left over covers or have them done too and sell them for a profit. I cant wait to see how they turn out for the "evil" Mustang cause I went with a "candied" color.
Which should make em look like colored chrome.

I swear after this Im gonna chill out on the mods.....oh except for the other interior parts Im getting painted.

Actually paid some bills yesterday. I have $35....but i worked 16 hrs of OT last week so I should be good.

i agree with you pooners. i think it would look a lot better painted black. it would go better with the color flow that you have going on.
