Soooooooo.....got a call today from the dealership and they said I needed another $700 to put down towards it. Can't come up with it by tomorrow so, I'm not longer getting it . It's a sad day. And I was really bummed. I'll just keep saving I guess.

You and the stealer are only $700 apart? Tell them you'll agree to $350 more and work that into the payment plan. Man you're so close to what seems like a good buy.

Ok so.....2009 GXP dind't work out for me. Was more money and after I spent a few days thinkging about it.....I decided against it and decided to not deal with the hassle with the dealership.

On the other hand, two years ago I purchased my G6 from my local chevrolet dealership. Since then, they were bought out and is now a full GM dealership. I ended up coming up with $2300 to put down towards this bad boy. IMO I think I made the right choice. Certified used (the GXP was not, although it was a 2009 with 10,7xx miles). This 2007 Impala SS is certified. I got 4.9% financing and extra year/12,000 mile warranty.

Did I mention...it is loaded!

Impallas are nice but not my cup of tea. It is a fast car with a PCM tune and exhaust runs 13.9s and still can get 24-25 mpg hwy as has DOD. I think the 5.3L is a nice FWD V8 just the 3cars to chose (Impalla, Grand Prix, Monte Carlo) from isnt my favorite chooses. However, no G6 would beat one esp stock for stock.

How many miles does the Impala have on it?

33,533. GThe salesman that sold it to me, sold it to the person new in 2007. He traded it in for a Equinox. Locally bought and owned. Middle aged couple

Sounds good, miles arent bad either. Might have breaks and tires coming up in 7K miles but thats it. Prob alot of highway miles too being 34K in 2 years so thats a big plus also. Congrads on the find! Hope you will like!

edit: my 6 is a 2006 and it has 58,2xx miles
