    I'll sell you my GXP. It only has 10,000 miles on it and it already has tint and the catback exhaust. I want a G8 Mine is flawless and has only seen a snowbrush on it once

          the speedo can be switched from kilometers to miles in the DIC

            I apologize for my naivety but can someone explain why being a rental matters? I mean, 10,000 miles is 10,000 miles right? Does it matter how the miles got on there? Especially for a car only 1 year old.
            I would have thought being a rental is a plus.

            I'm in the same boat as the OP. I owe around 10k but mines worth close to 7k. However I would give my left nut to get into a G8.

              It may have been abused since whoever drove didn't take care of it since it wasn't theirs. Like thrown in park before being stopped. It's called thinking the worst when you don't know.

                  There is a higher chance rental cars tend to get abused and not maintained very well.

                    As Bigs said, you just switch to k's in the DIC. The speedo gauge is the US one, topping out at 140mph. I paid Cdn.$ 23,500 in Aug. '07. The car is loaded, all options.

                        I'm going Friday to pick it up. Over the phone i've talked them down another $500. We'll see what happens when friday get's here.

                          Soooooooo.....got a call today from the dealership and they said I needed another $700 to put down towards it. Can't come up with it by tomorrow so, I'm not longer getting it . It's a sad day. And I was really bummed. I'll just keep saving I guess.

                            You and the stealer are only $700 apart? Tell them you'll agree to $350 more and work that into the payment plan. Man you're so close to what seems like a good buy.
