why does my muffler leak water? its usually just on one side and does it more sometimes than others.. anything to worry about?

It's just condensation from the temperature change. It's nothing to worry about.

I wouldnt go over 4" on the flow through (resonator) if it was me....Im just saying

Why is that? If you're going to say something atleast have some sort of reasoning behind it.

That extra 1/4" all the way around really isn't going to effect much for clearance. Its still smaller than the stock cat or resonator.. my reasoning is because you said im just saying but left no explanation.

SLP has some good products. A lot of the G8'ers have their stuff and like them

all i have done for exhaust thus far is resonator delete and tips. if i just replace the straight pipe that was the resonator with a glass pack would i keep the same louder tone without the rasp?

non that are good. there is a ebay brand called OBX but the craftsman ship isnt on par. also it is not 50 stat legal as it is missing the catalytic convertor's

thats the idea of it. but you also want to keep in mind. loud at idle is really loud at heavy acceleration. I have a highflow res from magna flow with a muffler. it has great low rumble at idle and cruising. but when Im on it. it is noticeable and much louder then idle. another thing most city have a noise ordinance. if you exceed a set db level they will cite you. last thing you dont want to sound like a rice boy. I know I had no res for a month and it was stupid loud and raspy.

Does anyone know if the Magnaflow exhaust part# 16760 fit the 2009 2.4L G6? It says it only fits years 05-07 but could it work?

So I need y'alls advice, next up on my list is new exhaust! I'm looking to spend around 500-600.

muffler... $70, "resonator".... $50, 2 tips.... $150, $150 at exhaust shop...

I was wondering, why should I take it to an exhaust shop? Is there welding that is needed to be done? My dad owns a mechanic shop that I can use. Just a FYI so if its all able to just be bolted on then I can do that.

Also, I would love to do a dual out exhaust with just cutting a hole or buying a new plastic bumper cover thing.
