so i should get the wiring harness with it? and do i still just the out the fuse to turn the running lights off?

You should get the harness only if you're experiencing flickering with your kit. If you want it to be 200% problem free then buy it, it's not very expensive anyways.

Also having the relay means you can keep your DRLs. If you want to disable them simply remove the fuse & relay associated to them under the hood.

Need a replacement 8000K bulb. I have the spyder projector headlights. Just making sure the size of the bulb is right. I think they are H1. Does anyone know where the best place to get them is?

so theres a billion pages, and I've read through quite a bit...but I have one question I just need for confirmation b/c I'm sure I saw some contradicting statements...

I have a 2008 G6 GXP (NOT the street edition)....at DDM for my fogs I need to order H11 bulbs also? I've seen over and over again I need H11's for the Low's which is why I was surprised to see people say it was the same. Somebody said earlier that their street edition had different fogs...which I don't have, but I didn't know if the GXP had different fog lights or not.

If so I'm going to order:

H11, 35W, 6000K (no other options) for my lows.....and the exact same thing for my fogs?

Is this correct? ( I know the color temp is up to me...and 55W seemed excessive, so I went with 35W, from most peoples responses )

I'm just looking for a pure bright white low beams and fogs.

hey, i have the halo projector lights for my g6 and they didn't come with hid lights installed...and the bulbs differ from the factory kind. what kind am i supposed to get? (I only need the low beams replaced)

For the lows you are correct. If you have this bumper http://memimage.cardomain.com/ride_i...0003_large.jpg H11's will not fit. Couldn't tell you what kind to get though as I don't have a gxp front end.

Yea that's the same bumper I've got that came on the car. So H11's won't fit...hmm....

According to this thread here (clicky) the GXP fogs are type 9040.

Found it right away using the search field ;-)

Hey Firedown, I have stock head lights right now. But i am going to get eagle eye's in a few days. Should I get H7 instead of H11 then?

Yeah if you want to use your HIDs in the eagle eyes you will need to pick up some H7 bulbs.

There appears to be 2 extra connectors tied together that I see on the DDM Tuning website and says they can be cut off. It only says that on the H10's, but my H11's also came with this extra wire. Did anyone do anything with this?

Also, I noticed they now provided a nice rubber gasket for where you cut the hole in the dust covers. Does anyone who's used that gasket think this is sufficient/had problems with moisture getting in the lights?

EDIT:
I see deathmage asked the same thing on page 66, what did you end up doing?....The post below didn't seem too clear what to do with that extra wire. Plus that plastic piece on the bottom has to be broken off I guess after you've unscrewed the top. I can't see how else to get the small bottom plastic part out...
