and yeah leon at first i hated red interior and was avoiding the hell outta em and saw it as a negative till i got in it today. i fricking love the red interior in person and im REALLY glad i have it. (will have it)

Oh. Yea. Forgot... almost all the cool stuff won't work on the 2004's. DashHawk will not work. Diablosport Trinity will not work. 2004 was the cutoff date for a lot of things. Interceptors will work but it has to be the older PT style ones. Not the newer CN series that work with the G6.. same models wont work with friends newer cars etc to read codes, or monitor anything. Diablosports are nice as it allows you to tune your vehicle yourself. You can run the prepackaged tunes they give you like the old Predators could, but Trinity's allow you to modify stuff yourself. Sorta like HP Tuners.
And if you liked the no scoops of the '04.. why get this? LOL. A tad more or same price if you wait a few weeks and you can have a '05.

I thought I was bad when I was looking for one, but I only went through 3/4 seriose inquarries and looking at them, all spaced apart AT LEAST a few weeks, and not just looking at it and going OH GTO MUST GET IT. There are plenty out there, it's worth waiting and makign sure they are the one you really want.
Honestly this one you just started looking at 1, 2 days ago? (Prior you were looking at '05's, other colors, other interiors). Make sure you have made up your mind man or you're stuck with it. Don't impulse buy and regret it. *Coughmarkcough*

Forgot about that. Funny too because I forgot that my friend's camaro wont work either since its an 02 and doesnt support CAN, he wanted to use it for a 1/4 run. Most GM vehicles had it in 2003 but the 2004 GTO was an exception because it was imported.

What's odd is my buddy has a EARLY '05 Cobalt SS and it would not work in his. It says '05 SS's were supported. It was made in like mid-late 2004.

as i said, i would prefer an 05/06 but the mileage on this is something i cant pass up. i DO like the hood scoops which is a plus for me on this car. ive been hunting for a goat for quite a while now and this is a good deal for a great car. im not settling, im picking up the car on thursday so its not like you telling me that some diablo tuner is gunna make me call the dealer and say OH WTFBBQ I DONT WANT IT ANYMORE. Is it a dissapointment to find that my interceptor wont work, yes. can i sell it and buy the one that does work, yes. the car has fricken 16k miles on it. i see this is > than zomg dual exhaust or the fact that a diablo sport tune wont work.
