      Re: Headlight Removal Help

I realize this is an old thread, but for anyone trying to remove the head light, you do NOT need to loosen or even touch the bumper. Simply remove the head light bolts, then slid the head light in towards the cent of the car behind the bumper. This will give you enough room to slide the outer end of the head light past the fender and then twist and your head light will pop out. Should take no more then 45 seconds.

      Good luck all.

Not saying it can't be done, but I'd love to see someone do it in under a minute. I just swapped mine out a month ago and it took about 10 minutes to get them unbolted and out. opcorn:

And I don't see how it can be done without touching the bumper.

The '08 headlights? What do you expect?
Didn't you have an '06 or '07 first and traded yours though?

I used to be able to do it in about 2-3-minutes. 4 bolts, I think 6 or 8 plugs in the bumper and pull the light out.

I did have a lot of practice though.

It can be a pain if you don't know where to start

                      Re: Headlight Removal Help

Sorry ... guess I wasn't very clear.... finding and removing the bolts does take several minutes... but once you have them all unbolted, you can slide the head light into the center of the car behind the bumper ... that will give you enough room to get the other end past the fender ... then twist and your set.... like I said ... 45 seconds after you've got it all unbolted...

                      good luck
