Koni Yellow for the 2004 Saab 9-3 ARC are now in.... I set them to 1 full turn past full soft and they feel very good. The ass feels way more planted and controlled. Bumps on the highway are extremely less harsh, and feel like going over a small bump when in-fact it's a pothole. Handling in the rear is way better, off the launch is greatly improved as is braking.
I can't wait to do the inserts in the front, it makes the lower spring feel like there working better. Plus my ass is sore so that's even better! I might set them backward 1/2 a turn just to see if it makes them feel a little softer. Overall it's a huge improvement from before putting hem on! Highly recommend! Installation was very easy and took about 30 minutes per side (I was bullshitting so it would probably take less time)
--forgive the dirty car, I haven't washed her since Wednesday. A little mist and rain last night made the road damp this morning and mud is all over the sides! - ugh!--

The difference is very different. The rear is more planted and feels controlled. bumps still feel like bumps but way more smooth. Today I did a crusing 55 to gunning 78 mpg pass around a 535i BMW that was cruisin and I had to do a fast pass with a hard G left turn with a 15 degree bank to the left and I was a bit in the "oo shit too fast thought" but the rear end hugged the turn like crazy there was no body rolls at all!, I was really impressed.Originally posted by Lampoon View Post

...So it's been about two weeks now and the Koni's have broken in now and they feel great. I'll probably be doing the fronts in about 2 months but for now the changes to the rear alone have been drastic to the overall feel of the car. She is extremely comfortable now on the highway and sporty feeling on the side-roads.
I especially love the control and planted feel of the rear, she no longer wabbles on over pass bumps on the interstate at interstate speeds, she is controlled and well-mannered.

Decided today since it was a rare 68 degrees here in NY on December 22nd that I would re-paint the front calipers on both sides.
I washed my car last night but all of the wet road made that not so apparent in the pictures this morning when I went to Michael's to get some fine tipped brushes, kind of pissed me off!
When I took off the rims a second time I detailed them so these pictures don't really show this...took these right after putting the tires back on so the chop block and block for the jack are still in-place.
