    Remote Start?

    Was remote start a standard feature on the 08 G6 GT?

    If not, what is a RPO code for the feature and where can I find the vehicle RPO code sticker?

    The car came with no key fob and I would like to get the correct key fob.

    I have an 06 GT and I've read that all GT's came standard with remote start but my key fob doesn't have the button for it either...makes me wonder if it's not the original :/
    Mods: AIT Hood, Black EE's, Crab O3, 25% Tint all around, Matt Black Dipped Rims, LED's in Hood Scoops, Intake Resonator Delete, Blacked out Pontiac Darts, De-badge, Molded mud flaps, Flat Black grille surrounds, Flat Black window trim, GM logo Interior Re-Badge, Tinted Tail lights.

      The 2006 canadian brochure states that all GT & GTP (AT) has remote start standard. Optional on base/v6 models (included in the Drivers's package)

        i dont think that holds true in the US. I believe I had to order remote start for my 06 gtp

          If you run through the menu on the driver information center (DIC), it has where you can enable or disable the remote start. If it has it listed in the DIC you should have it.

              They also made a Code for Remote start ready, where you can add a factory remote start for your vehicle I know the remote start code is AP8 but I know there were others... Too many damn codes couldn't make it easy for us...
