Mine is the first-ever username I chose for myself for the first-ever forum I joined, which was a Blues hockey forum back in 2001. The 29 was in honor of a defenseman who's no longer in the league and who shall remain nameless. I just chose to use it (here and several other places) because I can't be bothered to remember different names for every forum I'm on.

Mine is the name of a song (how original) by the band Beneath the Massacre, but if you read the lyrics to it you'll understand it's about politics and the media blah blah blah

When I was in high school, we were talking about our names backwards. First time I actually thought of it, Dan backwards is Nad. Not long later, a friend started calling me Nadical on online chat, and then the name stuck. I've used the name since around 2000...

Just ever since the beginning of time, well actually going on forums for me, I've used Ringo because he was my favorite Beatle which was my favorite band at that time sadly they have taken a 2nd to Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers now but besides the fact I've always used some variation of Ringo. Mostly used Ringo64 on forums and variations of Ringo like RINGOinfluence for my xbox live gamertag, etc...

Mine came from a senior English class project. We took Beowulf, and changed it into a surfer type movie. It turned out pretty funny, and I used it as my AOL name back in the day. It's just stuck with me ever since.
