  • wheel shake after lowering, rims, and an alignment

Hello my first post on the forum and I need some help. I have an 08 g6 gxp street edition that I just put Enkei LS-5 18's with Toyo Proxes 225/40/18 from wheelsnext. I also got some springs from CMS. I put the rims on before I took it to Meineke to have the springs put in and to get an alignment. I got the car back and I have some wheel shake if I go over 40. Its not horrible, but I am woundering if my alignment is no good or this is expected after lowering? I dont think its normal but I dont want to look like an idiot when I call them tommorrow. Any help will be appreciated.
    Thanks in advance,
    Sean

I will get pics asap, also on of my centering rings was cracked in two but I epoxied it togther with 2 part epoxy. Meineke never said anything about the ring being broke so I asume its it good shape and in one peice. Should I take the rim off with the ring to make sure its not in two peices?

Def sounds like a wheel balance problem

And yeah i agree with the others, its most likely a balancing problem.

Majority rules: I vote wheel balance too.

beautiful car, I wouldn't hesitate to take it back to meineke and take them on around the block in it, nothing works better than the ass in the seat proof

and i agree with everyone else about the wheels being outta balance, but at the same time if you have really soft tires, sometimes them sitting in one spot for too long you can get a flat spot in them
its might just be a family sedan, but girls love this car
