damnnnn my mans dropped 40k in his 6! thats wassup. interested in the vette calipers now.. they just as good as brembo?
EDIT: Messaged him and got this in response!
I had Street Machinery do it in Euclid Ohio. Dudes name is Borris. He does brake conversions and corvette mainly about 4-6 different cars a week. Gotta talk to him. He didnt have any issues at all plus the car has the air ride suspension. The rotors are corvette 14" so remember I have a 20" rim giving enough space for the rotor and caliper to fit in there good
plus this guy put the front rotors from a C5 on both the front AND the back.. I'm not trying to squash your dreams.. but there is not a way to do this that will be cheaper than the cobalt brembos..

Oh no, don't get me wrong, I was just inquiring... If you look the Corvette brakes are much more expensive anyway... I just thought it would make for interesting conversation on here!!
those look like the "corvette" brakes ppl put on old grand prixs etc that are pro like 20 yrs old lol looks like our regular stock single piston calipers so would likely not be much upgrade anyways.........
Why would someone put 40K into a G6 and not do something with the headlights...

So I have gained considerable interest in doing a brembo setup... I was just wondering what is all need and if Cobalt brakes are really the only thing we can use or is there other stuff??

Could do other stuff with custom fab, but that gets expensive. Cheapest option for bigger brakes is off the cobalts since its a direct swap. There a thread with all the part numbers in it somewhere. But basically you need both calipers, pin kits for both, both rotors, and a pad set. And thats it iirc. Btw, i think i saw calipers pretty cheap on rock auto, like 180 a piece, and i think theres reman calipers at autozone even cheaper

This should be everything you'd need to do the fronts and rears. You'll want to verify that first though.
