    i know all that.that doesnt answer my question. i didnt ask wheather it was a direct bolt on or not. let me rephrase it then. would a twin screw SC like the GP one work? as in what would you need to do just to mount it? do you take off your intake manifold and replace it with the SC(with some sort of adapter involved)?-if you were answering colin's question dont reguard this.

      The M90 off of the 3800 SC would work, but you would need a custom fabricated intake manifold, perhaps a new hood. It can also be mounted possibly just behind the radiator with a custom bracket and a custom intake bolted on to it and from there straight into the throttle body.

      I believe the SC that RSM did for the 3400 engines was an M60 that was set up the second way that I described. They were known to have reliability issues though.

        so basically Tom. your saying that you would need to get a custom intake manifold for it. so does the SC take the place of the TB and then from the SC the air goes into the inatake manifold. so basically the SC inlet for the air would take the palce of the TB right? and it would be near the same place that ours are currently mabe just a little higher. and you would need ot hook up the drive by wire to it right? i recall someone on here say they took off their intake manifold on their 3900, did they ever post pics of it?

          What I'm saying is that if you had a place to mount it in front of the engine, you could feed the air from it straight into the throttle body. It won't replace it.

          Problems:

          You'd need a custom bracket that won't bend. You'd need to build something to bolt onto the SC so that it'll feed the air into a custom intake that'll feed into the throttle body. You'd need an intake on the air side, probably behind the driver's side fog light, which involves cutting steel to make it work.

          There's lots of work either way. Personally, I'd go with a centrifugal SC, because it you should have more room to work with on the passenger side of the vehicle.

            sounds like the centrifical would be easier.
            this guy almost did it. i have never seen a SC sitting in a g6 engine bay whether its hooked up or not.lol

              I still think a STS style Rear mount would be the easiest thing to do... all you gotta deal with is adding a oil pump and running the pipes. No problem fitting it in the engine bay... since there's nothing to fit

                yes it would prob be easiest but i want it in the engine bay. if it were rear mount you could just tap into the stage 4 or somthing like the doc did.

                  see where it is tapped into? is that supposed to be where he has air coming into the intake from the turbo? or is that sometihng with the intercooler? i can't tell those are kinda crappy pics he posted.

                        the STS remote mount has thress different packages for rear mount. what is the difference between them? mainly just the stage 2 and 3? would a stage 2 have everything needed to install with exception of tubing?
                        these are the only differences. so what are they referring to here? whats a pressure switch for? and im guessing the pipe kit is just piping is just general bends and such you could use. and whats a PCV system?

                          OMG !!!!!!!!!!!! Someone finally did a turbo kit for the g6 gtp! its only for the 3900 V6 though.

                          I've never heard of RRastley performance though.
