2009 Pontiac G6 base engine swap from a 2.4L to the 3.5L

ok so i have a 2009 G6 base 4 door sedan and i want to put more power in it by swapping the 2.4L to a 3.5L engine will it work it no mods and will everything line up with the new 3.5L bolts and wires with the old 2.4L???? please help

P.s my car is also my patrol car so i need more power under the hood

i have already look in to the tread but all it is talking about is some ls2 engines not the same from what im tryng to do
