Re: 2.4 intake idea?
So basically it's running without a filter? No bueno.
A CAI should have a filter, heat shield, and aluminum piping.2006 Pontiac G6 GT

Re: 2.4 intake idea?
I wouldn't get a tune for just a CAI. If you want to get more, get the WAMS tune so you atleast get your moneys worth.
I spent $300 for a local tune for my CAI and felt no difference. I actually felt like I got ripped now that I think about it. I wished I got WAMS instead.2006 Pontiac G6 GT

Re: 2.4 intake idea?
If it is a lease, why mess with it. I realize you probably wanna make it quicker or whatever, but the 2.4 doesnt have much at all to do to it. There are a but load of people here who have tried CAIs and failed. So the all went to stock. If you want it to work it is gonna be $400 min. $100 for the intake and $300 to tune. $300 is standard for a tune. Gotta pay to play. And with it being a lease why waste the money. Save it so you can buy your next car and do whatever you want to it.

Re: 2.4 intake idea?
Yea I probably did. Considering that I'm 18 they probably took advantage and I hear stories about it all the time. It's not like I can go back and demand my money back since tunes are no refund, but I can give that place a bad rep. I wish I had gotten the WAMS tune now, but that is later on my list.2006 Pontiac G6 GT
