    Kingsbourne 8mm Spark Plug Wires

    So after a little delay.. the wires came in and are now installed with new NDK Iridium plugs







    The wires are at 8mm vs. 7 from the factory. They come in black, blue, red, and yellow, and the red and black are available in 7mm as well.

    I will be talking with the moderators about a group buy, and getting an interest list started soon. As it stands I am waiting on information from the company who makes them.

    that chit looks nice you should paint the engine cover to match IMO...

        Dat shizzzznit looks super nice! I'm coming up on 100,000 miles, I think I'm gonna have to get my plugs and wires changed, after that 100k milemarker.

            soon as i get the email tomorrow.. ill be starting a interest list and pm'ing the mods to make sure i dont step on toes.. the company sounds really interesting in doing this.. i was the pilot car and got some stuff worked out.. (the number 6 wire was about 2in short.. but works for me, they will have it fixed for the impending buy

                50 after shipping.. it was 35 for 7mm and 40 for 8mm.. i priced wires at autozone for 30

                however there will be GB pricing, but im waiting on the email for the final details

                    well.. bare with me.. and maybe we all can get a better price..

                    if it makes it to group buy, i get reimbursed for what the difference in pricing is for only my wires.. (for the mods.. i will make no money from this GB)

                      I know this might be a bit off topic but can anyone explain what exactly are the benefits of bigger wires?

                          The theory is bigger wires = less resistance therefore a hotter spark in the engine. hotter spark is supposed to make a more complete burn of the fuel. It may not matter on our car, but I def have been experiencing a quicker throttle response.


                          All wire sets will be compatable with the 3.5, 3.6, and 3.9 motors. the 2.4 unfortunatly is getting left out..
