Check out my car domain and let me know what you think. It's got better close ups of the engine bay. The amount of green seems appropriate, but I'll consider the color switch for sure. Thanks for the input.

Well, that was actually...pretty damn easy. I had to cut the straight tube twice so I could get the right length, but here are the pics of everything assembled. I was also able to drill a hole and put that feeder tube back on

              Here ya go:

Took about 1 hour to put together. Took a test right, and everything feels nice. Didn't really noticed a sound difference, but I have little doubt that there is less air turbulence. I didn't weigh the difference between them yet since I have to take it back off to paint. That'll probably come tomorrow or next week. Needs to be a little warmer. I also have to sand down the parts and clip the nubs, etc. Anyway, I'll try to finish this up soon. But for now, it's functional and works great!

              What do ya think?

Yeah, minimal investment for a little fun with the car.

Didn't have time to paint it today. Wife got home I had to make dinner. Plus, it's still kinda chilly here. I'll work on cleaning it up tomorrow and try to get the first layer of paint on it. Still trying to decide if I want to go with black pipes and green joints, or the other way around

Aight, I got everything sanded down really smooth today. All the molding nubs and extra are all ground down. I weighed everything and the PVC setup is about 3 lbs heavier than the stock tube. Could probably cut that down by about a pound if I used different couplings, but nothing else was really available.

Anyway, picking up some more black Krylon plastics paint today. I've decided to go with black tubes and green joints. More accents vs. majority that way it matches everything else. Hope to get this done tomorrow after it warms up past 50 degrees.

                            That's it for now!

There's still going to be a bit of turbulence from that smaller piece by the first bend.
