this is the best sound ive heard while looking through exhaust clips, i know you said you dont know much about the 3.5 but do you know if anyone has used a similar setup as yours on a 3.5 already,,, i cant find one there are sooo many clips and exhaust posts lol

Saw your photos. I think I'm gonna do fully custom: cut the stock resonator out and put 24" glasspacks cherry bomb resonator, a single in and out muffler... Not sure what one yet and a single or dual Apexi n1 muffler. Yea it's an import muffler but I have it and it sounds great on the LS motors so should be fine.

Re: EXHAUST!(Any Info or questions post here)
Priced out new exhaust yesterday and have a concern. Saw a lot of people on the board ran a single 2 1/2" pipe from the "Y" back. I wanted to do this but the 3.9 on my 'vert currently has 1 3/4" factory piping. Is this too much of a stepup? Am I going to loose all my torque off the line? As we know the 'vert is the heaviest of the 6's and needs the torque to get moving.

Re: EXHAUST!(Any Info or questions post here)
I am planning on using Magnaflow. Should I use a single in dual out or "Y" it after the gas tank and run twin muffs?
I have a part # of 12226 on the single in dual out.
Kmans car on G6OC has a twim muff system on it. Got me wonndering how much would it add/ Take away to run a single vs twins.

Re: EXHAUST!(Any Info or questions post here)
AFAIK, muffler choice and number of mufflers only affects sound. I mean, I guess there are minute power band changes between all the different types and brands, but I don't think you should be able to feel a difference between different mufflers on the same size piping.
That being said, Magnaflow seems to be generally preferred in this group.

I don't like magma flow or flowmaster. Both don't sound deep or give the throaty sound engines make.
Hoping to maybe put dual Apexi world sport mufflers on mine. Either straight dual or connected like stock is. No sure yet.
