got the car on the 17th and just finished first mod .... sorta

somone had an aftermarket head unit in it and ran the magnetic xm antenna to the back just above the window. the wire ran inside the moulding down to the tail light, inside the seal then tucked all the way the the dash ..... i removed it
WOOT GO ME FIRST MOD lol

next is prob some painting under the hood but if anyone reads this knows do i need hi temp or would say the krylon plastic meld paint be fine?

none yet, was going to take some before i move some badges around. the "c" in pontiac is missing so im going to remove it and the little gm then move the G6 to line up with the gt. deff an intake but i may just go with the ram air hood, needs a spoiler if i can find a factory looking one. prob "Pontiac" the 3rd brake light. needs more red under the hood and i need to hit up UMI about some parts for our cars. they where really active on my f body board so maybe who knows.

prob not going to put an exhaust on it tho as i have watched a few clips and i cant say i like the sound but i would like to find a pipe that replaces the in line resinator

then at some point lube the shaft for the clunk lol and check the rack beacuse there is a huge differance between turning the wheel left and right. left is cake but right needs a little more umph

they are coming soon lol

got a responce from UMI and thay have no plans on anything for the G6 but the guy i was talking to in going to look into it. it may be just a matter of finding someone willing to let them test fit, if thats the case im not all that far from they if they hook me up with a lowner lol

i also took the car to the dealer so they could fix the cd player and they fixed my steering issue. all it needed was a re calibration. so if any one else is having uneven stearing (harder to turn one way thatn the other) thats all it needs

could not find any red gt badges other than the mustang ones so i ordered some red GT Decals from GrafxWerks.com


and a PONTIAC 3rd brake light cover (no pic on site so ill send them one) ill have pictures of the car up this weekend

can not remove the side molding. there are holes behind it.

yea not really interested in takin bondo to a car iv had for a week lol , hey mancos im not really interesting in big side stuff but i was looking at the door sil and thinking about some red G6 inlays, painted the engine cover and bat cover and ill post some pix when im done. doing the touch up and 2nd color tomorow

painted the engine cover and battery cover, still not at 100% but this is done for today (need a brush for touch up)

used Silver Hammered on paint (looks more like metal with hammer marks)


some red on the Battery cover


the 80% finished battery cover, i still want to take a brush to the lock location arrows


added a touch of red to the engine cover and did some touch up but im still not finished
