Well its not like if you said yes to this that it would happen.
We would be just one more closer to making this happen.

I dont think I have ever seen a green MPD so there is nothing to look at
to sway you.
The good thing is the hood fits the coupes, the sedans and the convertibles from 2005-2008 so if you needed to get rid of it there is a large market for it. Food for thought.

So we're looking at $600 + $120 or so shipping.. so less than $750 tops.

I assume it comes primed? So all I would need to do is get my body shop to paint match it, then bolt it on correct? Any idea what a Dealer's body shop would charge to paint it and pop it on?

Heh, I would luck out of I get it, I can still have it delivered to my house since it's listed as Commercial since my Dad's business is here and we get big trucks all the time.

I could manage to cough up enough $ to buy that and the GXP Spoiler now.. then wait till the summer or spring when I have $ to put them on..

I'm starting to sway here instead of the new hood...but $ is tight especially with me going back to school and going down to part time. I get $1,400 a month now but come part time I'll only get getting $700 or so and I'll only have a little extra after gas and stuff.

It comes with a gel type coat on it.
Step one is fitting. So bolt it on!
Run a few tape lines down the edges to make it all equal.
You will then need to sand those edges making sure they are straight and then sand the hood top & bottom, then you primer. Then wet sand and paint.
After paint you polish.

After polish you cruise around and enjoy the looks that you get.
And yes I get them everyday.

or...just tell your shop what you want. I did everything myself but the actual painting to save $$...
Some shops will let you do that. All I did was ask.
If you do it yourself be sure and mask up the grills good after you paint them black. :P
I guess you wouldnt need to if you painting the hood black though.

Yea I caved and ditched the new hood . I have some cool plans for it though. I'll need help from two others on the forum here though

It won't have a chance to go on though till the Spring or Summer once I get a break from school and get the $ to have the body shop do it.

I have the money, but I hate just paying close to a $1000 for a hood at this moment. Its too soon. I want the GT-R exhaust first. I'm going to have to pass on this unless I win the lottery or someone dies and leaves me some money.
