NO ABS?

I have a 2005 Pontiac G6 V6. I am under the impression that this car should have Anti lock Brakes, however I have been sliding around a lot with our weather lately and there is no pulsating that comes from the wheels and no ABS light that comes on in the car. Am I without ABS?

sounds that way
best check is to slam on the brakes. if you skid and there isnt a warning light on the dash you dont have it
or you can post your vin and i can tell you for sure

If you don't have a GT, then you most likely don't have abs. Non of the base models I looked at had abs when I was looking for my 6.

i was going to say, in that model year if you dont have a gt or up then there is no abs on the car

I think ABS was an option. TC was not available on the V6G6.

i have an 06 base sedan and have no ABS. I kinda like it that way. I rented a G5 recently that had ABS and almost got into an accident cause the pedal felt less firm than in my G6

I think ABS was an option. TC was not available on the V6G6.

ABS was an option I belive, you need to check your sticker. Or go to a dealership and let them run your VIN and they can tell you what your options where on the car that it came with.
