Can't complain too much when the dealer is doing their best. Many dealers would have just given you the car back after the first "fix" and let you come back 20 times.

OK, talked with the Service Manager today to get the exact deal with the car rather than go off what Mary said.
They HAVE replaced the u-bend in the exhaust. That didn't get it. When they looked further, they said they found a "tear" in the actual muffler. So we're waiting on the new muffler to come in. Apparently with the size, GM is in no real hurry on the shipping. Oh well, I can just put a couple hundred miles on their Yukon this weekend instead of running up the miles on the 6. It's all good. I am going to try to get a look at the muffler after they get it off the car to see what exactly they're talking about.

i hope to god thats not my case, since I have a GT-R exhaust that i installed perfectly w/ my old man.. what else could it be?
only thing i could think of is it started right before i got my last oil change, it had DIC displaying "change oil" for a month or so ...whoops?
then it couldnt be the exhaust, im not sure about the oil in reaguards to the whistle sound. not sure!

I get same whistle type sounds when accelerating.. clicking type sound accompanied.. driver side front part of car is where it sounds like its coming from.
