I'm working with a 09 Pontiac G6 with a 3.5 in it. The car has 65K on it and the wipers will not turn off. The wiper switch will send power to the wiper motor to make them go full speed and but any other selection off, timed, and fast don't do anything, the wipers consistently move at fast speed even when switch is unplugged. Eventually with finagling with the switch I can get it to shut off. But the switch is fine. Already checked with new switch for wipers. I've also tried new relays. The plug to the wiper motor is getting 10.6v on the yellow wire. Which presumably is the wire that supplies power to run the wiper motor. I've taken apart the fuse box, the BCM, unwrapped the wiring harness as far as I could and no rips, corrosion, or melted wires. Unfortunately I'm stuck and I'm wondering if anyone has had this problem? On top of everything another problem that's going on is the lights. The left front is dimmer than the right front. If you turn the fog lights on the left front light goes dim and the fog lights come on and then dim all the way out. Even with new bulbs. Just looking for some expert opinions or answers on these cars
