  • Car Warranty

I purchased my car about 2 months ago as a gm certified used vehicle. I do know if any of you guys have heard of this or not...but the vehicles are given a 12 month/12,000 bumper-to-bumper warranty and a powertrain warranty. I took my car to the dealer today and it turns out that I need a new front wheel bearing. How do I go about using this warranty? Because it doesn't exactly say anywhere on any of my papers that I have that warranty, just that it's certified used.

it would be in the GM system, so as long as you take it to a GM store they would be able to do it under warranty.

yes it will be in their system as to when the car was resold. They even have the original put into use date for the original warranty.

^correct. I never paid a dime for the warranty . I took it to the dealer to get the wheel bearing replaced and to program my new radio (I installed a new 2009 g6 radio with AUX plug in)...bill was over 400 and just paid for the radio programming ($55). Thank god for warranties!

dealers also tend to fuck alot of other stuff up so i dont think they are all great. but some things of course they are good for.
