When I try to remote start my car all that happens is the lights flash twice..., I've tried while in the car with still no luck. The ODD time it will actually work. I've turned it off then on in the DIC, and disconnected the battery with still no luck. Anyone else have this problem?

Re: Remote Start Problem
Not to hijack this but I have the ability to remote start my car w/o locking it.
When I test drove it b4 purchase, I just held the button in, since thats how it was on my Viper on prev. car. Started right up.
Sales guy was like, thats not possible, even though you just did it. But if you do that and then lock it, it kills it.
Whats up with that??
My friends remote start was doinging the cliking thing too. His radio was also malfunctioning, mainly the DIC, and the dealer said thats why the remote start was not working cuz the DIC was messed up.

Re: Remote Start Problem
I used to have this problem that I took to the dealer and they told me my hood latch sensor had gone out. It would start sometimes but not all the time. At times the alarm would also go off. I got that sensor replaced and all is well...
