i cant remember my exact milage when i walked into my dealership this past summer, but it was right around 13,000. i told him i had only owned my g6 about 6-8 months, but actually it was 15 months and the bastard looked it up and said they're not covered and i'm lucky i didnt need them sooner and that would be $26 bucks for each blade if i wanted new ones. i told him pontiac/gm needs better engineers and walked away.

You are aware that it is recommended that you replace wiper blades every six months right? After a year and a quarter, I don't see why they should cover it under warranty.

          Trico Wiper Blades

          Type /Part #
Exact Fit Blade - Driver Side 24-13
Exact Fit Blade - Passenger Side 21-13

Go to basically any autoparts stores with those part numbers and they WILL be able to get them for you. Might take a while or need to be ordered if they arent fully stocked in the warehouse but they can be got!!

I was at Checker yesterday and for the hell of it they had this new touch screen wiper blade finder-not the cheesy ones I know your thinking about but this one was really nice. So I put in all my car info and it brings them up then starts flashing-"see parts manager"

Trico wont return e-mail or phone calls. Their dealers say the numbers arnt good part numbers so my guess is they havent been released yet.
                At least not down here.

The original blades on our cars are the Bosch Icon. Any place that carry's Bosch should have these in stock they are an exact replacement. And just to confirm that the Trico blades mentioned before are an aftermarket replacement that will work as far as how it hooks up but the style of how the blade looks or made is different.

Have you tried looking at the blade and comparing them? I suppose I could be wrong but I know that when I noticed the different blades and how they attached Bosch was the only manufacturer out there that even had a blade close to what we had and I just assumed that was our blade.

nevermind I'm a dumbass!!! I just went to Bosch's website and I see the difference....so I guess Trico 24-13 and 21-13, if those are the correct numbers, are the only ones available so far. I have seen Anco coming out with the same style as our blade but again I think it's the same hook up as the Bosch

just installed the Trico Exact Fit Wiper Blade for the driver side, #24-13 on my 2005 G6....and....

                            it works like A DREAM!!!

its a little different on the engineering, meaning it doesn't really have the "pinch tabs" like the ones that came with the car. they seem more durable and you really just stick the end of the arm into the top hole and lock it down into place. my windsheild hasn't been this clear for me in months!

like i was saying before, i bought mine at rockauto.com and it took 3 days to get here and thats with the Christmas rush, for $13 + 6.55 shipping. now that I know they work I'll be buying the passenger side for $11 + shipping..thats the cheapest I saw them anywhere....hopefully they are in the stores soon so we can skip the shipping charge. I'm just glad I waited and didn't get ripped off from my local Pontiac dealership...scam artists..."F" them!

If you could find them locally without having to pay the shipping, that wouldn't be a bad deal. Once you factor in the shipping, your back up to 20 bucks a pop, not that far off from the dealers price.
