Re: how do i clean my seats

actually i did, however this is a type of reference site, therefore it shouldn't matter when i post something. I learned a lot of mods and other helpful things about my g6 that I purchased in april of 06, and some of the info i received was posted way before i purchased or even thought of buying my car. I think thats why items are not erased, but just closed. Its a reason why that option of "notify me when someone post" And the guy specifically stated that he wanted to purchase something that he could use over and over, so i was giving him my best knowledge. however, if this is how im going to be treated by a moderator, i wont post anything at all, even questions! I would expect this from a normal user. Thanks for your coutesy, and nice avatar!!! I didnt start the message nor am i a mod so its nothing that i could have done to move it. All i can do but add to the post. If no one is suppoed to post please close or lock the thread!!

Easy killer, I was just messing with ya. It's great to have additional input, but understand that thread revivals is always something to joke around about. On here or on any forum really, there isn't an issue if it's informative which your post was but just understand the lighter side of things. Anyway it was just a joke comment, hence the smilies I put on at the end of my post. Of course we want you to post and stick around, but just try and lighten up a bit ok?

      The more information the merrier!

btw jnak was only commenting to sectional moderators on suggestion to move the thread, it was in no form directed to you... after all you can't move it even if you put it here.

I work in a detail shop and they way I would go about removing thoes would be to use a combination of resolve tripple action and any other respectible cleaner you can find, seeing how you dont have the chemicals we do. Also try 98% pure rubbing alcohol you can use it on anything without the fear of damage. Also make sure to use a LOT of water after letting everingthing soak in for a few minutes then just vacuum it up. If they are tan seats the ink may not come out to well but coffee will for sure.

Take them out, spray some degreaser/all purpose cleaner on them and then pressure wash them. Vacuum as much water out as you can, and then put them in the sun. The cloth seats in the G6 suck ASS, so while you have them out, you could take advantage and put some lighter fluid on it, and then put a match to them.
