you don't just dump it all into the gas tank, it is also designed to go straight into the throttle body and crank case to clean as much of the engine as possible.

I alway thought that was something else you COULD do, but didn't have to. I think the majority of users are going to just put it in the gas tank, because they don't know enough about cars.

I did that waaaaay back ago in the 94 with my 85 Regal......wow nice smoke screen, white and very thick.
Because the car was carbed, I ran a small line with a fish tank valve thru the firewall.
I opened it at 3500 rpms and smoke screen on!
My next mod was to ran some sort of solenoid and using a switch to activate it!

Re: Seafoam - anyone used it?

I have used sea foam in many cars including my G6 3.5 with 31,000 on, it it also removes water in the fuel system and with todays fuel it by no means could hurt your car.

i hear it's suppose to be the best stuff to remove carbon from your engine, that's where the smoke comes from :P

Re: Seafoam - anyone used it?

I used this stuff on the RX7 I was working on (sold it now, w00t.) We just poured it in the gas tank.

Anyway, my brother is driving this piece of crap Probe that he never maintains despite being in autotech in high school (he's a lazy kid.) So I'm going to buy him a bottle and make him use it. The Probe died today on him and he was getting all defensive on how he does maintain it and crap. What a liar.
