i actually went to Baton Rouge with the GF to stay with her family. Baton Rouge is in horrible shape. 400+ homes with trees in them, 98% of the town is without power. The most devastation i have seen since NO with katrina. got home this morning and they wont have power till middle of next week. luckily we had a good generator and a good window unit. Here in Lafaette my roomate said the apt lost power for about 40-48 hours, the siding under my patio was ripped off, thats about it. Lafayette got lucky
No damage here and never lost power either. Hopefully we all fair out the same for Ike!!
