I appreciate the info. you've been providing for us Canadian G6ers. I've been thinking about driving down to the US to pick up some new wheels, but don't want a hassle at the border.

Do you know if I were to install them down there and drive back with my factories in the back seat, will they charge me customs? And if they do, do you know if customs is based on a percentage, or is it a flat rate?

Any info. will help.

Attention to all your Canadian G6er's that want a MPD hood. Guess what, open up, bend over and take it. I did!!!!
The order was placed on the 20th of October and I received it today on the 6th of January. It was a long time wait
for a hood, and alot of coin to get it here. But once it's installed and painted to match the car it will be worth it.

All in Canadian dollars:

THE HOOD COSTS

Hood - $762.42
Shipping $185.60
Customs $98.71

Totalling the anal raping of the year $1046.73 before install and paint.

I'd like to interject something here, because I just went thru this too!

I paid roughly the same for the hood, maybe a little less because he gave us a 3-person discount, BUT! I got ass-ramed way more then Barry did and I didn't like it.

I paid:

Customs - $224.34
Shipping - $752.87!

I think Barry got off so easy, because he lives in a more populated part of Canada. So for everyone who doesn't live in the metropolis be warned, this hood just might hurt.

PS: Car is at the shop, I'll post pics when I get it back.
