yea i know what your talking about but im not sure how you'd get to it..

pop out the handbrake trigger with a flathead, pull the top piece straight off, and then pull the chrome ring out.

Also the red is a bit too much IMO.

I dont know if you can do this, but there is a little chrome ring on the e brake...would look pretty good to paint that up too.

this was a PITA to do.. had to take the door panel off to get to it but here ya gooo...



ive had some issues sense these pictures... i definitely wouldn't recommend doing this. im not looking forward to doing the rears, nor will i get them even started today...

I love it...I was actually wanting to paint mine the same color xD I guess I get to see a preview of what it will look like.

glad you like it! i wrote up a "how to" to getting the shifter plate out if you need it.

and sense you like the color... it is paint for plastic by krylon. the color is sunrise red

thanks bro! um lol a couple bolts, a lot of wiggling, and cussing. there is a how to but i can pm you about it!

felt like painting some more today so i popped out the little vents on top of the dashboard and they are now color matched to the door trim..







got one more thing on the way but they are driving right now so give me a little bit!!

Well the last 5 months have been extremely hard and ive been struggling to pay my bills on unemployment and I finally reapplied for my old position at walmart unloading truck for full time on 2nd shift, and had an interview today.. and got a call afterwards for another interview at a company called ball bounce and sports, so im hoping my bad luck streak ends soon and ill hopefully be back into work soon
