Re: 2009 White Sedan or 2006 Red GT Coupe?
This one yes, but I'm more using a reference and it can be scaled. For instance:
2009.5 Pontiac G6 GT Sedan = $22k via my local area (fight for it and of course you can get it a bit lower)
2006 Pontiac G6 GTP Coupe/Sedan = ~$10k via Edmunds.com (depending on who you get it from, but approx.)
2000 Chevrolet Corvette = $20.5 (this is what -I- got it for back in late '06, it's a bit lower now I'm sure)
You see? The G6 will -never- get 350+ HP or Torque (unless you turbo or something), but the prices (after haggling and whatnot) are very comparable. Now, again this is going from a new to a used G6 -> Vette, which of course the new is going to cost more, but if you look at the used G6 GTP... it has ~240hp stock... it will -never- get 350+ HP or Torque (by most means unless you turbo or something and mod the heck out of it). The G6 GTP is still newer, but again the prices for what you get... the Vette is still worth it.
I apologize, I know this is way off track, my only point was that if he wanted a play car, he could sell the G6 sedan and buy something -much- better than the G6 -GT- coupe IMHO.
