    Body Type

    Ok so here is a question. I tried looking it up on Google but found nothing.

    If my transam and camaros are F-Body, Cavaliers and Sunfires are J-Body's....what are our cars.

    1988 Pontiac TransAm 5.0L HO

        The "body" days are done.

        The G6 is Epsilon platform. This is shared with the Chevy Malibu, Saturn Aura, and Saab 9-3. (With slight variants)

        The Grand Am that the G6 replaced was on the N-Body platform, which was shared with the Chevy Malibu, and Oldsmobile Alero.

        GM did away with almost all their "body" frames for the most part in the 2003-2007 era. Ex.. F-Body Firebird/Camaro... the W-Body GrandPrix, Monte Carlo, Impala (still in production)... The GTO is on the V-Body which was actually used a long time ago for a Cadillac model, and some Opel cars and Holden cars like the Monaro and Commedore. The Corvette is also a Y-Body..

                Oh.. Likewise GM's truck frame they use for almost all of their trucks is GMT900....... Delta is the Cobalt, G5, etc... Kappa is the Solstice and Sky... Theta is the Equinox, Torrent, Terrain and Vue.... Lambda is the Acadia, Enclave, Traverse and Outlook. Zeta is also the Pontiac G8, Holden Commedore, and Camaro's platform...

                What's funny is Theta and Lambda, Crossover platforms, both used the Epsilon as a base starting point.

                  in the shop we dont call them epsilon or any of that crap. we call it a g6 but in the Tech 2 its built as a z body

                  Remember if "the" and "and" are spelled right its not a genuine Ahuhn post
