    2009 GT's gets new chrome clad rims!!!

    I was driving by my dealer and thought I would swing through to take a peak at the new 2009 when I saw this. I like the new rims they have sharp edges compared to the old 2005/2008 rims and they have no lip on them. wow supper nice and sorry for the cell phone pic.

    Good find!

    I dunno.....the bevel on the spoke catches the light when they spin. Looks like a fat GTP rim.

    Its still cladded. If I damage and have to replace one more cladded rim I swear
    I am buying all new aftermarket rims.

        You can tell its cladded. See the opening in the clad for the valve stem?

          Thats what my rims look like but there is a little lip around the edge on mine.

            those rims look great

              They look much better then the 05-08 rims.... but if i were to have the choice I wouldn't have cladded rims ever again. Had them on my g/a 2 were replaced from getting bent and another was bent but i just left it.

                Not bad, nice look without the lip. Judging by the wheel well and the Optimo tires, they're still 17" though. I still say all GTs deserve to have 18's.

                  Yeah, they caught my eye driving by the dealership. I thought there was something different about them

                    We had an 09 in the shop the other day getting chrome recessed upper grilles and the chrome lower ones put on, and it had those wheels on it. Very nice

                            i like my rims...have yet to see those in person but they look like the caps on a co-workers saturn which he didnt get the rims and they are just better looking base wheels with caps

                              To me, the old ones aren't great but they are much better than the new ones. I like the chrome plating but the design sucks.
