3.6 IS vvt, but the 3.9 isnt afaik

It is VVT. Its not independently variable intake and exhaust lobes as it uses simple cam phasing to advance, or retard the camshaft but it does show gains. Its one of the reasons the 3.9L makes peak torque near 2800rpm and still makes peak power at 6000rpm.Originally posted by BORN2SKI View PostComment
