So lets say you don't have access to the required tools. Who would you go to for the install? Is the dealership the only real reliable option? I bought the parts, just need the install.
rent the tools and do it yourself. its fun and gives me something to do

Ok so the 36mm deep socket is $13 on amazon. Only other thing I need is the 3 jaw puller. What price/brand should I be looking at? Any particular length? Is 4" ok?
You're doing it all wrong...you gotta cup the balls, relax the jaw...
The basic, non-premium bearing was $179. The deep socket was $10. The gear puller I used was $39. Parts Source wanted $240 to rent their tool. I decided to just buy one.
Only problem I ran into along the way was my brake rotor was rusted onto the old hub. I hammered it for like 20 minutes and it wouldn't budge. What I finally decided to try, was to use the gear puller on it. Worked like a charm.
The only step I see missed is how to troubleshoot the bearing. From the driver's seat, it sounded like the front passenger bearing was gone, but it ended up being the driver's side one.

you can check which one is making the noise by putting load on the bearing. For example, if you take a long curve right and the noise is louder, your left front bearing is toasted or making his way to toasted and viceversa.
As for the rears....dont really know how to put some really nice load on them but I think that its the same way.
