It doesn't seem to need to be that long. I think it is completely possible to use Saab rear shocks. See here: I haven't really seen a good pic of a Saab rear shock though. What I really want to do is use the front coils and rear springs from a Cobalt kit and the rear shocks from a Saab kit so I can have the dampening.

if you look on megan racing's site they show the exact picture of it. i mean, im getting some with my tax return, if the back fits or not isnt an enormous concern. though it is kinda funny how simple the upper mount is.

I think it looks like the Saab shock, but I can't confirm.

So, exactly how low can you lower a g6 on the Megan Racing coilovers? Any pictures? Also I have heard that you have to extend your tie rods? is this true?
