Airbag actually disconnects in a few places - none are "under dash". Based on what else you are doing when you pull off the top column close-out panel (the plastic thing) you will be looking down at 2 connectors on back of the column coil assembly - one of which looks identical to the 10-way connector you have been taking pictures of.
That is the "downlead" of coil. The yellow connector you see next to it is for driver airbag. If you ever disconnect it make sure when reinstall that the red piece is put in also because it is needed to "clear" the shorting bar. The other disconnect location is accessed thru the end of IP on driver side for driver airbag. That trim cover is a bit hard to pull off by hand until you get the hang of it. Only one or other is necessary to remove. I would go with the one on back of column coil.
If you look at this mating 10-way check how many wires are in it - that will tell you if your vehicle wiring will support the radio switches or not.
