  • HELP : How-To Install Underbody Neons

alright this morning me and my friend jacked up the car to see how we can install these neons and it is all metal down there so we were wondering for those people out there how did you install your neons?

you cant drill through the metal because its pretty thick.

I imagine you had to drill through some metal on the sides through which to put the zip ties???

ya this is what i am confused about myself...you cant drill into the metal. i mean you prolly could but youll waste several drillbits but wtf are you zip tying then?

are you looping the zip ties around the neon tube itself and then gluing it?
            im sorta confused O_O?

also...what is this "foamy glue" you are referring too?
and is it actually holding up good for you.

thanks for the replies thus far ^_^

I always found neons to be childish, ricey, and conformist. What are you, like 17?

Or maybe I'm old. I just want to be able to make my payments...

I really haven't looked under this car, but on my previous car it had that same thin piece of metal that you use the factory jack on. I drilled holes through that and stuck zip ties through.

yes, perhaps you are old. if you have a problem making your payments get a better job.

this is the internet and furthermore a forum, not english class, therefore i wipe my ass with punctuation. ZOMGlolPWNT

                      ^_^

now, any more help please? maybe someone that actually has the neons installed.

Screws or Zip Ties, but if you use screws, be sure to weather tight and don't drill into something..
