I must say that this is a nice unit. It got me to Kyle's place in just over 6 hours of driving, which is an hour better than iGuidance and a GPS adapter on my laptop did last time I came here.

            Sorry, it's the KNA-G510 v3.20 software. I'm updating it to v3.40 tonight.

The map software is City Navigator North America NT v8 ALL

quick question did you loose your steering wheel controls (volume, pre sets, FF REW) when you put in the new deck and does the message center portion still work correctly?

Yes, you will lose them. You will need a steering wheel control module for the appropriate model radio to get them back. I have a howto (sorta) on it in the howto section.

No. You will need a DIC kit to retain messages and temperatures and things like that. There are two kits out there made by Scosche and Metra that work decently.

Mods: Vector 93 ECM/TCM, Addco prototype 7/8" rear sway bar, Powerslot Cryo rotors, Hawk ceramic pads, Yokohama AVID W4S 245/45/18 on Cobalt SS/TC wheels, Pioneer DEH-P6900UB, Alpine PDX-1.600 pushing a 12" Kicker L7, Scosche DIC, Peripheral steering wheel control kit
