Well I just saw a GXP up close and personal today and I must say I do like the hood but seeing the car itself I must say that I have seen better and I drive it.... I like my G6 way better however I was just looking for some feedback on what people think about that hood. I like it but its pretty costly through the dealership, I was told like $695 or something and the the scoop insterts are seperate on top of that(or so it seemed). But anywho just seeing what people thought of that hood.

I liked it until I saw pictures of it not in black and realized the scoops look terrible with that cutout part in front.

Can you convert it to use as ram air? If not I'd just get the MPD hood, then you go the way of the CRAB! :P

GXP hood is solid underneath, afaik.

So, to me the way to go is the MPD if that's what you want. Or you could get that C.F. hood.

get the mpd hood. those darn plastic looking inserts in the front of the ports make the gxp hood look like ass

I don't really like the mpd hood it just looks funny to me.
I do believe that isn't solid underneath and that you have to buy the scoop insterts for the hood also otherwise you will just have 2 big holes in your hood, or so says the parts guy.GXP hood is solid underneath, afaik.Comment
