Home made HID low beam projector, can you use Fog Projectors?

If I were to try and add low beam projectors to stock housings can you use fog light projectors or do they have to be an actual low beam projector?

i attempted this when i use to do headlight and had a wreck so had my old fogs laying around. they are to big to fit in the housing and leave room that you need. at least that was my take on it
