this is the story of the cubs. They are now going to be the either A. third highest payroll in the majors (behind yankees and bosox) or B. the fourth (behind the aforementioned and also the mets.. depending on the mets' spending) for the season. Most likely, to get all the fans going, theyll lead the NL or be a top three team and be ungodly good. They pwn all (like a g6 gtp against a base cobalt in a drag) and then they get to the postseason and they will choke. Most likely in some way that will be so horrific that some unlucky fan or player will be forced to run out of chi-town with an angry mob running after them... (see bartman) Sorry, i like watching the cubs, but its just how its got to be!
