Browns vs Steelers. Let the Rivalry and trash talking begin

Well its August and almost football season. And I didn't want to clutter up the NFL thread with Cleveland Pittsburgh talk, though both sides know we easily could so I started this thread. So far Laura and Steve seem to be having fun trashing Cleveland as I trash Pittsburgh. And just to keep that trash talk going......................

lol. You have to remember that I live 40 minutes from where football itself started, the hall of fame is in Canton. Football around here is HUGE. Especially with both Cleveland and Pittsburgh being rustbelt cities. Hell even high school football around here made it to ESPN's titletown(Massillon, Ohio which is right on the other side of Canton).

To each his own, but football is GREAT

They did for about a second. Now the Jets are playing the Browns and hes up in Cleveland, so thats all there talking about.

yeh but look at it this way, they arent good enough to win the title even with favre.

How can you say that, when they were one pass or one defensive stop away from the Super Bowl last year?

They had a easy a@@ schedule last year. They beat San Diego only cause at the time SD was banged up and LT hadnt played any pre-season and was still getting his legs, look back at his stats, not impressive. Without Favre on that team last year their 8-8 at best, which still makes the playoffs in the so impressive NFC. Cant believe Favre actually had the sack to come to an AFC team with the best team in the NFL. Im getting more excited to have him.

That ESPN Titletown thing was stupid as hell. How can any city in this country think it can reasonably compare with Boston?

Bruins - 5 Stanley Cups
Red Sox - 7 World Series Titles
Celtics - 17 NBA Championships
Patriots - 3 Super Bowls

Any other submissions for Titletown should be dismissed!
