roof rack? Somehow I just pictured a stealth blue metallic g8 gt with a lift kit and a gun rack on the back with a deer strapped to the hood.

That is def a nice car! If I got on it would be that red. I dont care for sedans but the G8 I can make an exception for! I cant belive I was at one time the biggest member against the new G8 when I heard and news launched last september!

If I just didnt spend 1200 on my car for the hood, I would def look into buying one! 15 isnt bad for me as the car only comes out on the weekends so my G6s gas goes bad anyways sometimes I think

Makes sence that its not desinated LS2 as it has DOD and not 400HP. Its a totally diffrent PCM and other electronic setup then

Hey Ray, what was the sticker on that being a 888. The one I looked at and drove was not an 888 and it was 32,xxx.

The sticker was 31,845.
It has both the Premium and sport packages.
Which for an 888 is all you can get.

The sales guy told me that the 2 sitting in the showroom were a couple thousand more just because they were 888's (nothing more) and they'd be worth more. They didn't have the window stickers on them

Not worth more then the MSRP, once you take it off the lot and you take it back to the dealership for buy back there tune would change real quick Thats why I didnt buy a solstice back in late 06, like 3K more then the sticker price so I got my GTP..... now the solstices 2.4Ls they cant move.. biggest car reserve GM has, like a 5month surplus of them.....

I spent that much for hood(prep,paint) and kind of wish I didn't, in a way.

Yea.... go on and brag! :P

Really though, I dont blame you at all. The 05 G6s IMO...... well just suck! Steering wheel is far from attractive , no tap shift, its an 05, and was no GTP trim avaible
