This is my 2007 G6 GTP that I bought for $9250. I got it when it had 56,600 miles on it, and its kelly blue book value at the time was 15,000. Someone who doesn't really know how to take good care of cars decided to buy a new one (which is never a good situation). I ended up buying it for the same amount of money that they got for it when they traded it in, because the dealership had the G6 for like four months or something. It has black leather seats, and all of the options that it could of had.
G6 is now for sale! $7000

Here are some old pictures of what it looked like when I bought it. I was planing on buying a FWD car that was GM, and when I saw that there was a G6 coupe I jumped on it. I didn't really like how the back looked, so the first thing that I bought was the best looking carbon fiber spoiler that I could find on the internet. It just seemed like it was missing something, so I put it on as soon as I could and took some pictures.

The next thing that I wanted to get was some better piping for my air intake, and delete that resonator, so I bought a cheap ebay chrome intake. It said that it wouldn't fit, but I wanted to be the one to make it fit. I later didn't like that 90 Decree bend, and replaced it with a chrome 45 Decree pipe.

Then I decided I didn't like the greyish front grill, and painted it and put chrome strips on it.

Pictures of 32mm wheel spacers: I always thought the the wheels didn't look wide enough, but I liked the wheels that I have, so I bought some 32mm wheel spacers. I soon found out that I was rubbing in the front, and put 25mm wheel spacers on it.

New 7 inch spoiler brackets, since I decided not to fabricate some new solid ones:
Also deleted my muffler, and it sounds great!!

Painted my head lights, got eyelids, and new tail lights:

When I had some time I made a front splitter to match the rear spoiler, but it is not carbon fiber for now, because I didn't want to spend the money. It connects directly to the chassis thanks to some huge bolts and some brackets that I made. It's also adjustable on the sides using factory screw holes, and at the front the rods can adjust how low or high it can go.

I decided that I wanted brighter lights and put my old Camaro's seven color halos and hid projector lights from the retrofit source in my headlights. The four 55 watt 6000k hid lights are unbelievably bright! I wired the halos in with my parking lights and they make the car look really mean.
I wanted to save money, so I decided to not get coils, and just bought Eibach lowering springs, and Koni yellow sport rear shocks so I can adjust the dampening at the rear. The car needs more over-steer, so I'm keeping the softer stock front shocks, and stiffening the rear shocks. Before I installed my springs I removed the muffler and the spare tire which took out quite a lot of weight causing the rear to rise up about an inch. So now the rear lowering springs shouldn't need the spacer that unwashed originally planning of getting. The rear will drop more than the front but the front will still be lower and help create a low pressure zone at the back and will help my custom rear diffuser (when I get it done), create more down force, and more rear grip.

After installing my rear diffuser that I made:

Red cob led halo rings:

Its been forever since I've posted and a while back I changed a few things, I remade all the canards out of black HDPE plastic so they stand up to the weather better and can be bent however I wanted. I also put in a front mount intercooler and cut out the fog lights and bolted in honeycomb grilles from a vw gti on each side where the fog lights were. The intercooler is functional but doesn't really do much now, I installed a Y pipe right before the intercooler and added a filter before and after so now the g6 draws air from both sides from behind each grille. If I end up keeping the g6 then I want to eventually get electric motors installed and after that I'll get a centrifugal supercharger hooked up to it to make some mad power. What I haven't said yet is that I bought another car to be a project car once I'm finished with my g6. It's a silver 2002 toyota celica gts, and for now its my daily driver so I can get better gas mileage because the g6 really needs a tune now that the intake and exhaust are so free flowing I'm getting only about 23 mpg or less. Oh and I put new 4" stainless tips, raised the exhaust a bit so it's not hanging so low, and put the spoiler from my g6 on my celica but as soon as I did there was a big difference in how it handles. There is so much more lean and roll now..I'm not really a fan and the g6 looks ok without the spoiler but before long I'm probably going to buy another and put it back on. I also removed the fins from the rear diffuser so it looks a bit cleaner. I could use a really stiff rear roll bar too but it's really surprising how much that spoiler kept the rear under control. Heres some pictures of some changes I made, but I will have a few more recent ones with more differences soon!

I plan on getting some fender flares and putting some wider wheels on the front and back. The wheels I want are 19 x 10 with 20mm offset they only come in a different bolt pattern so I will need some wheel adapters.
If I can I will get 19 x 12 inch corvette rims.
Links for my future mods:
Recently found some better fitting 20 inch rims- i didn't want 20's but if I'm going to use 350z fender flares it will increase the diameter of the fender, and 20s would fit much better. Not only will the fender fit better but the wheel will fit very close to the stock fitment on the inside of the wheel. It'll have 3mm more space than stock once i install the 25mm wheel spacers.
Tires:
single:
or with 19x12 corvette spyder wheels (I will have to order and wait for them to make more) I will need 3 inch wheel adapters and 4 inch fender flares (modified off a 350)
More mods to come. Much wider wheels, protean in wheel electric motor hybrid conversion + who knows!
