Everybody else seems to be going with the idea of stealth in their appearance mods. I see my G6 Coupe along the styling of the CTS-V and Bentley GT. As soon as the weather starts to cooperate I'll have more pictures to share. So far the only thing I've been able to finish is the grill. I tried to order different uppers to no evail. I was sceptical about combining the chrome honeycomb on the upper with the horizontal chrome lower, but I like it.

Just started modifications but seem to be coming up with ideas faster than I have time to firgure out which one sucks and which is cool.

    Apperance Mods:
window tint, red calipers, chrome grill, Hide the Plate Mount, black headlights & custom pedals
    Performance Mods:
    Crabs Intake, Intake Resonator Delete

To each their own. Do what you want with the G6. Personally my G6 I did a bit of both. Tints and such. Yet I did Chrome recessed upper and lower grills and whatnot.

          Re: hitchcock54 Attemping Modifications

Right now I'm tring to figure out how to chrome the rubber window trim. Tried to use a crome tape from the auto store. The bottom looked awesome, because it's flat, but when I got to the curve over the top it wouldn't lay flat no and would bubble. I tried to cut and angle it but no go. So I got pissed off and ripped it all off Don't know if there's any other way to do it. Today I'm painting the calipers red and center caps on my wheels. This summer me and my buddy are gonna see if we can't come up with a way to have the dual exhaust exit from the middle of the bummper. I love that look!

I'm actually moving up to Connecticut after St. Paddy's Day, new job. Don't know much about CT besides visiting my sister a couple times but I can't wait.

Well in luck, there's not much to know about Connecticut You get to deal with crazy ass NY and Mass drivers, and in New Haven and Waterbury drivers are even worse than them. Avoid Bridgeport and downtown Hartford at all costs. Waterbury is full of bums. And Litchfield, Tolland, and Windham counties are sparesey populated and unlike the rest of the state.

There's a bunch of meets with the GTO's during the summer you'd be welcome to.

Not much for G6. I'm the only one up here now. We had Joe in Mass, Jim in NY, both moved south. Sara in NY sold... so just me lol.

just completed the trek up the coast with a fully loaded car and averaged just under 27 mpg. last time, pre crabs, it was 22. almost paid for itself right there.

i should be getting new headlights in this week. can't wait. my baby just keeps getting better and better looking as we go. im also thinking about doing the tiger crab. not fully convinced i should...

shoot you're talking to a guy from south florida that's used to it being 80 right now. not quite used to used to 40. but the headlights are painted. i waz kicking around the idea of chrome trim but am starting to lean away from that thought. got the chrome on there but ended up looking better in my head than on the car. might come back to it. the only thing is i haven't come up with something i really like. maybe a body kit if there's one that'carbon fiber or looks like carbon fiber. think that'd look good with the black. or a new paint job whole or partial. as you can tell my thought process is all over the place right now.
