Brembo Brakes, Finally!!!!

so, i have been wanting to do this mod for a while. i went to alberts house(steelgreygtp) who has the brembos already to see if they fit.
He had 15mm spacers and they fit my 17" rims with about a half inch of clearance between the caliper and the rim. so i ordered 5mm spacers all around.
Now heres the best part. I looked at the cobaltss.net forums and found a guy who rolled his cobalt and is parting it out. i sent him an email and he got back to me today. $350 shipped. I just paid for them and they will be delivered in a few days.
Just as albert has done, i will post lots of pictures during the install, befores and afters. any questions or comments, let me know. im so happy

just so i have this straight...

with the 15mm spacer those brembo calipers will fit within the Einkie 5spoke factory 17" wheel?

like the ones i got?

i dont have them yet. thats the picture he sent me
with the factory 17 in enkei rims, 15mm spacers give you half an inch clearance. but u will need longer studs. so i went with 5mm eibach pro hubcentric spacers and they will work fine. i have the same rims as you.
albert has new stickers for me and i will be painting them red

they are used with less then 4000 miles on them. he is giving me the pads, rotors and calipers. im buyin the pin kits from albert. and the spacers from drivewire.com. if you guys want ill post a complete list of parts.

I was wondering since youll have nice big brakes up front but these little wimpy ones out back. Just from an astetic point of view it would look kinda funny to me. I know you dont need big one out back since the fronts do 80% of the braking.

thats exactly what i did. i joined cobaltss.net and searched there parts forum. found this guy who is parting out his wrecked ss. shot him an email and soon, brembo brakes were found. took me 3 days to find them
