Re: Show clean engine in under 40 minutes

As long as the engine is only warm and not hot you should be ok, if you can hold your hand on the engine for a while and not have it burn you it's ok. But leaving your hood open on a hot day would be a "safer" method.

But looks good, you might want to use something better than armor all though. It's formula will do nothing but attract dust and grime quicker.

Nice write up/how-to! Your engine bay came out looking like its fresh off the dealer lot! Under my hood really needs a good cleaning so im definitly gonna be trying this method.

looks good. the only thing I ever have to seem to worry about under my hood is the strut towers getting and radiator cover getting all dusty. everything else is always clean.

Wow, what a huge change. The before look is nasty. The result is terrific. Doesn't it feel good to give our favourite (Canadian spelling) rides some TLC? Great job!

Thanks Maxx, that's just spray n rinse, no elbow grease.
Thats why I love that stuff
If I were to scrub at it with a brush, that engine would look brand new again. Wanted to get my faceoff pics tho, was runnin out of time.
I'll be doin another top to bottom detail this weekend, so, I'll have more before n afters on another car

Used the 2 in 1 engine cleaner stuff on my 99 Sonoma with 140,000 and as far as I'm concerned never been cleaned. Worked GREAT! All the plastic resorvoirs for coolant, washer fluid came out clean as a whistle. I am going to do this to my 6 next weekend. Thanks for bringing this product to the limelight!
